When doubt comes knocking, we must allow our faith to answer the door. Many people will doubt their beliefs when trouble comes, but we need to doubt the doubts and believe and our beliefs. As simple as that sounds, is it essential to the victory! Faith can’t exist with doubt. If you’re believing God for His promises in your life, you must put doubt out. Doubt comes from the enemy to waist your time, pulling you farther from the promise, so you’ll get frustrated and give up. Jesus had to put the doubt out when He went to Jairus’ house to raise his daughter from the dead. In order to operate by faith, Jesus put out everyone who was crying in doubt. By faith, Jesus said, “Arise!” She was brought back to life again! If Jesus had to put out the doubt, you will too! Let’s doubt the doubt and put our confidence in God’s word!!

When the devil comes to pick a fight, fight like Jesus did. There is nothing the devil can do with the word of God. The devil came to tempt Jesus in the wilderness three different times. Jesus responded to the devil’s traps with, “It is written!” We are not battling for victory or in a struggle to win, we have given the right to trend over the enemy. The devil has already been defeated by Jesus through His death, burial, and, resurrection. When you quote God’s word to the devil, it stops his attack and reminds him where his place is; not in you or on you, but under you! The devil’s place is under your feet. Take your victory over the devil today by using the Word of God!

Did you know behind the scenes the enemy is working to sabotage your walk with Lord? He tried his best to stop Jesus and the disciples from going over to the other side. In Mark 4:35, the scriptures tell us of how Jesus says, “Let us cross over to the other side.” A mighty storm begins to fill their boat. The disciples were in tremendous fear of drowning and woke Jesus up to save them. Jesus rebuked their little faith because they could have done what he was going to do. First, Jesus rebukes the wind not the waves. The disciples thought they had a wave problem, but Jesus knew there was an unseen force. He spoke to the wind. When the wind ceased the seas calmed. This is a powerful example of what we need to do! Speak to the unseen force, the devil, who is trying to steal your health or rob you of your finances to keep you out of the promises of God. You have God’s word on it, rebuke the wind in your life and allow supernatural peace to calm every storm!

We are not led by feelings. Your faith is not to be moved by feelings. Feelings do not determine if God’s word is working or not. We must make the Word apart of us like how our arm is attacked to us. God’s Word is an absolute, like 2 + 2 = 4. That’s the truth whether you feel like it or not. We must put our trust that confidently in His word. The Bible doesn’t work for you just because you read it. The Bible works for you because you confess it. You take the head faith you get from reading it, and start confessing it as the truth for you. The word will drop in your heart as faith because you believe God’s Word! Today, choose to go deeper in God and move past your feelings to declare His word with all boldness.

I heard a man say recently, “If you can laugh at adversity, you’re bulletproof.” This statement spoke to me, because it reminded me of this verse in Job out of the Bible, “You shall laugh at destruction and famine, And you shall not be afraid of the beasts of the earth.” Job 5:22 NKJV In other words in the middle of trouble, put your trust in God and laugh at the devil. The truth is walking in love and keeping your joy without allowing the situation to steal your peace will equal victory in your life every time!

You’ve got a new thing coming! Don’t get lost in the enemy’s trap of staying in the past. In God’s word, “Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old.” Isaiah 43:18 NKJV In other words, when it comes to your past, forget about it! Have you ever wondered why the windshield in your car is larger than the rear view mirror? The truth is because what’s in front of you is more important than what’s behind you. Refuse to live your life looking at what God has already brought you through. Start speaking, “I’ve got a new thing coming!”

What you don’t know can really hurt you. In the word of God, the Apostle Paul says he prays this way, “that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him,” Ephesians 1:17 NKJV. What we need is to have a spirit of wisdom and revelation of God’s promises in His word. We are not talking about memorizing more information, but receiving revelation knowledge through the Holy Spirit is what is powerful! Truly, we don’t need more money or better health, we need more revelation pertaining to all that was paid for through the perfect sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ. Ask for a spirit of wisdom and revelation today, so you can live in all the benefits of God’s redemption plan.

Why? When you don’t know the why behind your existence, it’s hard to live with confidence in your purpose. Our time on earth is just a small portion compared to the length of eternity. We must choose to make the most of it. Let’s make it about people. There is a hell to shun and a heaven to gain. A man once said, “If everyone could spend 5 minutes in eternity. Heaven would be full and hell would be empty.” The purpose on our lives, the why we were born is to accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, and start introducing as many as we can to Him.

The devil is the master manipulator. Meaning he desires to control you, to take advantage of you is a skillful way. His plan is to influence with his sneakiness, so you will do what he wants. Look at this verse in the Bible, “lest Satan should take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices.” II Corinthians 2:11 NKJV Satan’s kingdom runs on darkness and deception. God’s kingdom runs on light and love. We as Christians, do not manipulate others nor do we allow others to take advantage of us. We speak the truth in love and expect others to do the same. Today, put off the old ways of manipulation, allow the Holy Spirit to lead you into the light of the Lord!

Jesus cares about the condition of your heart. We see in Proverbs 4:23, “Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it flow the issues of life.” In order to walk closely with the Lord, your heart must match God’s pure and correct motives. The heart controls a person’s life changing decisions and actions. Therefore, we must guard our hearts against sinful temptations by controlling what we consume. Allowing Jesus Christ to rule over every aspect of our lives, will keep the deception of the enemy out of our hearts. There is a reward for being pure in heart, for they shall see God!

You must build your confidence in your ability to hear from God. God is a communicating Father who longs to talk to His children. Our job is to learn how to hear. I had a friend tell me, “If God’s ever spoken to me, I wouldn’t have known it.” If this too is your struggle here is what my dad would always tell me, one way to hear God’s voice is to read His word. You can be reading your favorite scripture and hear a little extra about in it your spirit. That elaboration is God talking to you as you’re spending time with Him. There’s major questions in life and you need to able to recognize God’s voice leading in the right direction. Start believing today, I hear the voice of the Lord!
